NovaScan is a user friendly, option rich method of getting paper and film into the PACS. NovaScan supports both film and paper and features a simple worklist for bringing up the patient information. The document is scanned on a flat bed or multi sheet scanner and using data base look-up is added to the existing study. Some of the options included are black and white reversal, multi sheet scan, double sided paper scan, color, 16 bid images, window/level inside of NovaScan, simple user interface, and user profiles.
