NovaView, NovaRad's Enterprise Radiologist Workstation, is the key to reading and manipulating images in a way that makes the most sense for the radiologist. Radiologists love NovaView because it makes their job easier. They love the features that let them just get to work and do it their way. For example, the 'choose series' floating toolbar, the 'record' and 'play' features (voice annotation), the 'notes', the 'key images', the 'window / level customizability' and floating toolbar and its association with the F keys for quick use, the 'cross localization', 'point cross localization', 'auto sync' and 'set sync', the 'auto checkout', 'auto reviewed', the 'measuring' tool, the 'ROI', and the 'advanced hanging protocols'.
As a primary image reading source, NovaView is a multi-monitor system that supports MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuc Med, Angio, CR, DR and other DICOM compliant images at any resolution and on any PC hardware. It also supports full DICOM query and retrieval of images point-to-point or via the Internet. Even though NovaRad has full feature web-based products, the radiologist workstation is designed to push images to a location so radiologists don't have to wait on the Internet.
What further sets NovaView apart is its intuitive interface with customizable features. NovaView features adaptive learning of specific physician presets-meaning the system learns how each doctor wants images displayed. All main tools including hanging protocols, window/leveling, zoom, next/previous page, image, series, and image scroll are accessible through mouse shortcuts or keyboard shortcuts. NovaView comes standard with a variety of popular hanging protocols or you can design your own.
For easy access and organization, worklists can be generated by exam type, dictation status, anatomic location, referring physician, patient location, and many others. NovaView auto-displays previous relevant studies and allows key images to be annotated with any combination of grease pencil, text, measurement and delete or recorded voice file with dynamic mouse cursor annotation and then saves it to a separate file. It also allows auto and manual synchronization of pre- and post- contrast and old and new images.
NovaED, NovaRad's ED workstation combines all the features needed for the ED docs with speed and ease of use. The ED docs want a workstation where they can quickly view the images and see what they need to see, with no time wasted. NoveED provides just that. With fully functional but easy to use hanging protocols, measuring tools, notes features, window/level/zoom, worklist, query, and auto display old images, this workstation fills all the needs. All functions are customizable with preferences assigned to a log-in and anything can be assigned to a function key or mouse button. The voice annotation and notes from the radiologist, as well as full reports also come up with the image.
